Order Importer - General

The first step is to give the job a descriptive name, specify whether Order Importer should post new orders to Sage immediately when they are fetched or whether you will initiate posting to Sage manually. You also specify formatting options here, you can format company names and address fields and convert post codes to upper case.

Company names and address field formatting options are:

None: The data is left in the same state it was retrieved in.

Upper Case: Fields are converted to UPPER CASE.

Lower Case: Fields are converted to lower case.

Proper Case: Fields are converted to Proper Case where the first letter of each word is capitalized.

Note that any data formatting is only performed once during the initial import, if you edit an order the data will not be re-formatted, so you should input any manual data properly.
