You may wish to change the field names of exported data for a number of reasons, for example you may have a need to export to a file format compatible with a third party application and changing the field names may be necessary, or you simply may not like the default Sage field names.
regardless of your reasons it is possible to change the names of the exported tables and field names during export, this is done using the options button on the export options screen of the job editor shown in Fig 1

To change the name of a table in your export date click the appropriate options button and specify the desired table name in the Export Alias field shown in Fig 2

To change the name of a field in your export date click the appropriate Fields button and specify the desired field name in the Alias field for each field you want to rename as shown in Fig 3
